σ-entropy and σ-similarity measure of fuzzy sets

The formula of a similarity measure defined by /spl sigma/-entropy is simplified depending upon universal calculate formula of /spl sigma/-entropy, and proved two important propositions by this formula. Our conclusions lay a foundation of answering the problem that was not solved by Liu.
