This pqper describes the me" of implementing the soft ware components for switching systems by using the concept of object-orientedprogramming Inaddition,,thepaperdescribes the results of evaluating the experimental system based on above memioned conce pi. The software components do not specify its execution en vironment (processor configuration ofa system, message switch ing mechanism between the objects, etc.), andare made eiaremely abstract Thereforewhenpreparinganinstallationenvironment for operating these software components on the actual systern, these components are applicable to any type of system. Our object-orientedprogramming allows the class names to be closed and local in each ofthe classes. This enables the system designers to design allocation of objects to processors and rela tion between objects separately from the programming. 7hereby, component design is clearly separated fiom the system design, and the system designer can freely constructs the system by using the components, and add and change system ftinctions. By both the object-oriented programming and current pro gramming, we designed the same services and compared them As a resuI4 we have concluded that such a software development method is usefulfor implementing switching system softwarefrom the viewpoints ofprogran: productivity andperformance.
