Adaptive neuron-like network for a textural segmentation of images

Texture features extracted from the image at learning sample points are used for integrated description of the texture. The texture description has the form of an assembly of neuron-like elements, as the values of extracted features are associated with these elements. Each texture is represented by its assembly. The model of the neuron-like network described has been realized as a computer program. Operation of the model was tested on natural textures.>
