I present a visual hand tracking system that can recover 3D hand shape and motion from a stream of 2D input images.The hand tracker was originally intended as part of a computer interface for (American) sign language signers, but the system may also serve as a general purpose hand tracking tool.My sincerest thanks go to my supervisor Dr. Brian V.
