Chapter 11 describes the Givens orthonormal transformation voltage algorithm. The massively parallel systolic array implementation of the Givens algorithm is detailed in Section 11.3. This implementation makes use of the CORDIC algorithm used in the Hewlett-Packard hand calculators for trigonometric computations.
