Statistical analysis of memory and performance non functional requirements in real time embedded system development for agile methodology
Arun B Krishna, Sunil Abraham · 2015
This paper presents the significance of analysis of performance and memory non functional requirement in real time embedded systems development when the development methodology is agile with incremental development. Efficient ways of tracking these parameters during the development cycle also described. The results from a complete development cycle of a complex industrial automation project are taken as a reference. The Novelty of this paper is the systematic statistical analysis of memory and performance non functional requirement (NFR) parameters by using the best suitable mathematical methods which is selected based on the characteristics of corresponding NFRs. Importance of tracking and analyzing memory and performance NFRs of the system for agile development is identified.
