Dynamic spectrum access gaining devices for wireless sensor network

Megha Thakre, Vaishali N. Sahare · 2015

Cognitive radio is an opportunistic communication technology designed to help users utilize the maximum available bandwidth. Cognitive radio has recently attracted a lot of research interest while much more research has been done on spectrum sensing and allocation problems. Due to pre allocation and the fixed spectrum based hardware design it is become difficult for the devices to switch to different channels or the frequency range in order to gain the access through any available medium. To solve the complexity problem, autonomic computing has been proposed to enable the network self-management where device can switch to available network on demand. Proposed system is mainly aimed at designing and implementing a dynamic spectrum searching and gaining the access on mutual bonding. Every device in network will try to search and connect default assigned or preferred network and if the network not available then try to search for next available service provider as per mentioned in priority table of every device in auto search mode or as per the manual configuration of the device.
