Performance of Fast and Gigabit Ethernet in Networked Control Systems

In this paper, the use of Fast and Gigabit Ethernet in networked control systems is tested. Real-time traffic and non-real time traffic are integrated without changing the IEEE 802.3 protocol packet format.
