Chapter 14 focuses upon the security and the fraud detection problems in mobile and wireless networks, and present solutions to related problems, such as authentication of mobile users, and the fraud detection mobile phone operations. Further increases in network security are necessary before the promise of mobile telecommunication can be fulfilled.
