Teaching programming through successive problem transformations
Pavel Azalov, Fani Zlatarova · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2003
Teaching by examples and problems is a well-known and often used approach when teaching Computer Science. This paper discusses the development of Computer Science lectures using successive problem transformations. A concrete system of examples and problems is described, too. The idea to use such lectures could be especially appropriate for introductory Computer Science courses. The formal description of the idea how to develop similar systems of examples and problems is also considered.
