Building an Architectural Framework for Telecom Services
E. Bertin, Noël Crespi, Guy Pujolle · 2013
This chapter considers invariants in a telecom service, namely, service process activities, functional patterns, and technical patterns. First, it talks about the actions undertaken during a service (existing or target) by the actors collaborating to render that service, and determines a business reference view from this. Second, it characterizes the functions of the services via the action capabilities provided by telecom services, in order to build a functional reference view. Finally, the chapter discusses how to model technical solutions used in the implementation of these services, in order to identify a technical reference view. In each section, the chapter introduces concepts and links that exist between them. Controlled Vocabulary Terms fifth generation systems; telecommunication services
