Miroslav S. Skoric · Annual Conference on Computers · 2006

This paper discusses security and privacy issues in AMUNETs - the amateur radio computer networks at educational institutions and elsewhere. The paper presents results of the recent experiments, which intention was to test security in accessing the amateur radio e-mail servers and digital radio relay systems. This work suggests various methods which aim is to bridge the gap between the safety and comfort in regular end user's activities within the amateur radio digital infrastructure. There are many opportunities in available safety measures, which support the integrity of user's and system administrator's credentials.
