Fernanda Vargas Ferreira, Anne Doyle, Michelle Cox · Journal of international women's studies · 2007
This panel will draw together different threads of language research across campus. There will be an effort to demonstrate the breadth and diversity of issues considered by language researchers. Specifically the panel will address: a) implications of being identified as “ESL”; b) insights of language attitudinal surveys of heritage learners; and c) why political apologies leave you angry. The panel hopes to encourage cross-disciplinary discussion on language issues.
