Research and Realization of High Availability Industrial Ethernet Technology

Industrial control system requires industrial Ethernet for high reliability and stability,so it limits the application of industrial Ethernet.In order to reduce the impact of communication failures to the system,this paper adds a redundant link to enhance the availability of communications.Based on Ethernet for Plant Automation(EPA) communication protocol stack,it designs a parallel Ethernet redundancy solution,including system architecture,frame structure and communication procedures,and gives performance analysis.
