Leighton Holdings Limited (Leighton) has recently paid penalties of $300,000, relating to three infringement notices issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) alleging the company had not complied with the continuous disclosure provisions of the Corporations Act 2001 and relevant provisions of the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) Listing Rules. There has been no admission of guilt on Leighton's behalf.
