This report is about how a site survey is carried out using software and how a site survey can collect the information needed to improve the existing wireless networks. The report provides both general information about wireless networks and practical examples with authentic measurements in the corporate environment.Problems can arise in a wireless network if the planning is not properly done. A measurement have been made in second floor, where company X is located.The results of the survey is presented in images that show the strength of Company X wireless networks, on the second floor. Images also shows noise, overlapping channels and how the signal strength related to these.
