PERFORMANCE-FAULT TOLERANCE TRADEOFFS IN SINGLE STAGE CONNECTING NETWORKS.
L. Ciminiera, Angelo Serra · 1982
The authors present a model for studying the relationships between performance and fault-tolerance in single-stage recirculating beta-networks. The properties of this model are used for finding bounds for the performance-fault tolerance tradeoff. By using some properties of the model, a class of networks, attaining this tradeoff bound, is defined and constructive rules for building a subset of this class are presented. 9 references.
