Limiting the order of polynomial matrices within the SBR2 algorithm

Abstract This paper discusses a method for restricting the, often unnecessary, growing order of polynomial matrices within the Sequential Best Rotation (SBR2) algorithm. The accuracy of the matrix decomposition when restricting the order of the polynomial matrix is examined and some simulated results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of this polynomial matrix truncation method. It has been shown that if the order of the matrix is appropriately truncated, an accurate polynomial matrix decomposition can still be achieved.
