This chapter talks about therapeutics for reptilian and amphibian diseases. It discusses fluid therapy including the effect of disease on fluid requirements, post-surgical fluid requirements, and the fluids used in reptilian practice, in detail. The chapter lists the advantages and disadvantages of various fluid therapies for reptiles and amphibians. Treatment of reptilian diseases such as skin diseases, and digestive system diseases, and treatment of amphibian diseases including nervous system diseases, are described in the chapter.
