Presentation of the AADL Concepts

This chapter presents the second version of the Architecture Analysis and Design Language (AADL) architecture description language. The chapter introduces the general concepts of architectural description languages (ADLs), and then gives a high-level presentation of the AADL version 2 (AADLv2) and the associated tools.
