Extraction of vessel contours in angiograms by simultaneous tracking of the two edges

A new method is presented for the tracking of vessel contours in X-ray angiographic images by means of graph theory. A model of blood vessels has been incorporated in our method which is applied to both subtracted and unsubtracted angiographic images with good accuracy and efficiency.>
