Quantum General State Control Based on Lyapunov Method
Shuang Cong · 2014
Chapter 6 covers the general state control method in quantum systems, including superposition state manipulation, pure state control strategy, the optimal control of mixed states, and any pure state to mixed state manipulation. Pure states include eigenstates and superposition states. Because of superposition, superposition state control is more difficult than eigenstate control. Superposition state can be treated as two situations of stationary and non-stationary states. For arbitrary pure state to mixed state manipulation, there are at most three steps: transfer from an arbitrary pure state to an eigenstate, transfer from an eigenstate to a mixed state by interaction control, and a mixed-state transfer. All designs for quantum control systems are verified through numerical simulation experiments.
