Decentralized H/sub ∞/ control of large-scale systems via output feedback

A decentralized control problem is considered for large-scale systems composed of a number of subsystems. The information structure constraint is conformable to the subsystems. Local output feedback controllers are designed so that individual closed loop subsystems satisfy H/sub /spl infin// specifications. Sufficient conditions are obtained under which the collection of such local controllers achieves H/sub /spl infin// requirements for the overall system.>
