World Processing Language
Peter Simon Sapaty · 2005
The syntax and semantics of the WAVE-WP language are presented in detail, along with elementary programming examples explaining them. WAVE-WP operates on values that may represent information, physical matter or any combination of these. It is a higher-level language for spatial processing and control, which can directly access any points of distributed worlds, process local or remote data, as well as assign local or remote results to local or remote variables. Peculiar space-matching syntax and semantics of WAVE-WP allow us to express arbitrary complex mission scenarios and the needed global system behavior on topmost semantic level, abstracting from system details – on one side, and also provide their straightforward parallel interpretation in fully distributed and open environments using any networked software and hardware systems – on the other side. Due to the new world-conquering philosophy underlying the language and also numerous extensions, changes, and improvements in both syntax and semantics as regards the previous language versions, WAVE-WP is described here as the new language.
