Demonstration of advanced transport telematics for urban mobility in Europe. The EUROSCOPE project

P Sonnabend, J Dubbert, M. McDonald · 1997

The objective of EUROSCOPE is a demonstration and validation of advanced transport telematics systems in 9 user application sites across Europe, thus achieving a sustainable effect on urban mobility. The project comprises 51 applications within three work areas: Informed Traveller, Logistics Information and Communications Systems, and Network Management. In addition, a common platform for system architecture and validation has been established in two dedicated horizontal task forces. A substantial effort is included within the project to provide added value by sharing the experiences of the partner sites both among each other and with parties outside the consortium. For the covering abstract, see IRRD 490001.
