Bayesian and pseudo-Bayesian algorithms for a mobile packet radio network with an ALOHA-type access channel and cellular structure

Two access strategies, ISA and pseudo-Bayesian broadcast, that are based on similar, though different, ways of handling channel feedback information, are combined to produce an overall access control method that is intended for use in a car-to-infrastructure communication environment. The operation of the combined scheme (termed AVC-R-ISA) is described. Simulation results are provided, relative to a single access area (cell) with a randomly variable number of stations.>
