A distributed signal processor incorporating VLSI and high order language programming

G. DeMuth · 2005

A distributed signal processor has been developed with the following objectives:\bulletEfficient execution of signal processing functions such as Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters, FFTs, beamforming\bulletEasily programmed by systems engineers using a High Order Language (HOL)\bulletLoose external coupling of the distributed signal processing elements to facilitate interconnection/synchronization\bulletUtilize VLSI. The distributed signal processor is comprised of bus interconnected signal processing elements which are programmed using a high order block diagram/processing graph oriented notation.
