Wireless Local Loop Systems

Chapter 10 (8 pages) describes the characteristics of wireless local loop systems also called fixed wireless access systems. Technologies for WLL Systems based on cellular mobile radio networks and digital point-to-multipoint systems are being introduced. Different WLL scenarios and their importance for bypassing the local loop of telecommunication networks are highlighted.
