Asymptotic analysis of non-uniform optimal restricted polar quantization

In this paper the simple and complete asymptotically analysis is given for a nonuniform polar quantizer with respect to the mean-square error (MSE) i.e. granular distortion (D/sub g/). The goal of this paper is solving the quantization problem in case of nonuniform restricted polar quantizer and finding the corresponding optimal support region (r/sub max/).
