Chinese word recognition and understanding with information feedback

It is the one of tasks of a Chinese speech understanding system that the Chinese syllable produced by the Chinese speech recognition system is translated into a correct Chinese word, and the Chinese speech understanding system will implement the task of transformation from speech to text together with the Chinese speech recognition system. This paper describe the design of a Chinese word recognition and understanding system based on a new approach with information feedback, that is different from the traditional scheme of speech recognition and understanding, using both linguistic and statistical methods. Finally, an analysis is included an experimental system with a summary of this new approach.
