Distinctive feature analysis for Thai handwritten character recognition based on modified stroke changing sequence

From character head center, stroke changing sequence is drawn both horizontally and vertically to detect stroke change. The experimental results are 92% of recognition rate, 4% of both error and undecision. The processing speed is about 5.8 characters per second.
