G. Scott Owen · IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications · 1996

Computer graphics courses are often taught as a set of given algorithms and techniques. Consequently, students develop a graphics system or produce a set of images using standardized methods. By incorporating experimental methodology into these courses, we can give students insight into the research methods and experimentation that developing new graphics techniques actually involves.
