We have described the developmental situation at the second stage of digital cellular systems in Japan. Especially, the configurations and features of the first 1.5 GHz PDC digital cellular network built up by NTT Mobile Communications Network Inc. (NTT DoCoMo) are precisely clarified as a transplanted system from 800 MHz band to 1.5 GHz band successfully.>
