Spatial partition adaptive multiple-interference canceller designs
Haixiang Liang, N.R. Malik · 2002
An adaptive canceller structure which cancels out multiple interfering noises by using a linear array of equally spaced receivers is introduced. The system uses a multiple-reference configuration and partitions the arrival angle space into regions such that each reference input contains mainly components from certain angle region(s) with only small residuals from other regions. Several design methods are discussed. It is shown both in theory and by simulation that systems with appropriate dynamic preprocessing matrix W/sub s/(z) can yield better performances than the simple paired-difference system with comparable computational complexities in a multiple-noise environment.>
