A preliminary report on the use of robots with elementary school students

Computing with robots has become a popular educational activity at several different levels for several different educational purposes. This paper examines the use of mobile robots in learning about computing at the fifth and sixth grade level. The authors have conducted several robot programming sessions with elementary school students over two semesters. This paper is a preliminary report of those activities.
