Model Theory and Computer Science: An Appetizer
Johann A. Makowsky · 1992
Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to give an account of those aspects of model theory which we think are relevant to theoretical computer science. We start with a general outline of the evolution of model theory, which will serve as an exposition of the major themes. In the subsequent section we shall elaborate some of these themes and put them into the context of theoretical computer science.
