Agent-assisted Distributed Requirements Elicitation and Management.

Requirements engineering (RE) is concerned with the elicitation of requirements from users (stakeholders), anal-ysis of these requirements and the generation of a coher-ent specification for downstream software engineering pro-cesses. Present-day RE projects typically involve large, di-verse and distributed groups of stakeholders, who specify their requirements mostly using informal notation. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of the ADREAM system which addresses these issues. We propose a novel agent-mediated architecture for the ADREAM sys-tem, a set of novel requirements elicitation strategies as well as a novel mechanism for eliciting formal descriptions of in-formal requirements.
