Review of Digital Electronics and Computer Architecture

This chapter, mainly for revision, reviews the architecture of embedded systems, the supporting software and logic elements including address decode structures. The ARM processor architecture is reviewed and basic software development techniques utilising the uVision tools are described. Some essential C programming techniques, which are widely used throughout the support package, are also presented for reference.
