Wavelets: A promising approach for electromagnetic fields problems

The introduction of "wavelet" concepts for solving the differential form of Maxwell's equations allows reduction of the computational effort. This technique is applied to 1-D and 2-D differential equations. Numerical examples are presented showing the features of the method.>
