Students of the “Introductory Electricity and Magnetism” course at our school usually encounter difficulty on the topics of electric fields and electric potential. With this in mind, we started the design of new teaching materials and introduced computer simulations. Our idea was to focus on the concepts of “work” and “potential difference” in situations where the functional dependence of the electric field changes (4).
