Cyclic Concatenated Codes Of Length n/sub 1/n/sub 2/ with gcd(n/sub 1/,n/sub 2/) //sup
J.M. Jensen · 2005
The known construction of cyclic con catenated codes is based on the fact that the inner code is a cyclic minimal code, the outer code is cyclic and the lengths of the inner and outer codes are relatively prime. We show that if the outer code is a suit ably chosen constacyclic code the overall concatenated code is always equivalent to a cyclic code regardless of the length of the outer code.
