Accuracy of 1/f Noise Parameter Extraction in the Presence of Background Noise
Ilmārs Slaidiņš · AIP conference proceedings · 2005
In this work the methodology of measurement data processing and noise component identification is presented leading to extraction of 1/f noise parameters on the background of RTS and G‐R noise. For identification of RTS noise presence deviation from the Gaussian probability density distribution and matched optimum filtering is used. Only after the identification and subtraction of RTS and R‐G components from the power spectral density 1/f noise parameter extraction with appropriate accuracy is possible.
