Argument Explanation Complementarity and the Structure of Informal Reasoning

G. Randolph Mayes · Informal Logic · 2010

Abstract: Argument and explanation are distinct forms of reasoning with an underappreciated complementary relationship. Keywords: argument, evidence, explanation, cause, complementarity, editorial.
