Game programming using the Allegro libraries

There are several different graphics libraries that can be used in developing a computer game. Allegro is one of these graphics libraries and is open-source and free to distribute along with programs that use it. The objective was to create games using this library. This library provides simple functions to draw basic shapes, text, and bitmap images. It also supports keyboard and mouse input and basic sound playing capability.
