The abstract collection is listed in alphabetical order and also arranged into broad subject areas (chemistry, physics, materials, etc.). Each abstract consists of an identification and title, the computer for which the software was written, other machine versions available, a description of the problem which the software is designed to solve, restrictions on the complexity of the problem, timing, unusual features of the software, related and auxiliary software requirements, status, references, programming languages, operating systems, other programming or operating information or restrictions, name and establishment of author or contributor, material available, keywords, and sponsor.
