Prospects for simulation and simulators of dynamic systems
George S. Shapiro, M.C.M. Rogers · Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) · 1967
The focus of this symposium is on the universal and symbiotic aspects of simulation. Twenty-nine authorities in their fields discuss transport and diffusion problems; fluid dynamics; statistical mechanics; biophysics and biological mechanisms; combinatorial and non-quantitative control; and man- machine and interdisciplinary problems. Organization problems of interest include adaptive equipments, content addressable memories; non-numerical machines; hybrids; on line real-time machines; multi-access systems which include the recognition of unusual events of data trends.
