Laboratory exercises for a computer security course

This paper describes laboratory exercises used in a computer security course. These exercises taught students how to locate potential computer vulnerabilities. The computer security course was taught using a networked Linux laboratory. This paper explains how to obtain and install the free software used in these exercises. It also describes the design of the laboratory exercises.
