Modeling Petri Net Based Systems by Net Transformations

Milan Urbášek · Electronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science · 2003

Net transformations are used as powerful techniques for manipulation of Petri net based models. They allow arbitrary modification of a given net, including the change of given net class. This paper presents a summary of results in the area of net transformations as developed at the Technical University Berlin. There are several new results discussed in this paper and demonstrated by simple examples.
