In Chapter 3, we introduce the wizard option for creating an application using the document/view option. The method is applied to providing a user-friendly interface for solving problems in matrix operations and a system of linear equations. The first problem describes matrix operations involving the use of arrays and data passing between the functions. Matrix algebra involving matrix inverse and multiplication is illustrated as modular operations based on the fundamental rules of algebra. The use of local variables, rather than global variables, makes the program more modular where the role each function can be further enhanced. The second problem revisits the two methods illustrated earlier in Chapter 2, for solving a system of linear equations. The wizard approach may look slightly tedious but it results in a good quality presentation that fully explores the resources in MFC
