The present paper discusses the order of error in numerical solutions of differential equations. In particular, the effect of size and shape of the grid imposed on the problem is examined. The author concludes that the rate of convergence is the same on an irregular grid as it is on a regular grid in many instances. 10 refs., 4 figs. (JDH)
